Panama Seeks Alliance With Costa Rica to Attract More Tourism.

Gustavo Him, Panama’s Minister of Tourism recently announced the Panamanian’s government interest in boosting the tourism sector through a $20 million international promotion fund, and is seeking an alliance with Costa Rica to create a multi-destination tourism zone that will be more attractive to tourists, specially those that travel long distances.

“Panama has had a lack of vision due to different administrative opinions, and the (aim of) creating the International Promotion Fund is to have a vision for the country regarding tourism. We’re seeking to establish priorities and have continuity over time,” said Him in an interview with EFE in Costa Rica.

Him held a meeting with Costa Rica’s Minister of Tourism, Maria Amalia Revelo, to discuss several matters, among them the possibilities of a bilateral cooperation to strengthen the tourism industry in both countries.

The Panama Canal is the perfect destination for adventure.

With only 36 passengers, the Safari Explorer carries travelers to adventures that include kayaking, taking Zodiacs through forests, learning how to snorkel, or just a peaceful afternoon sitting on the water.

The advantages of Uncruise’s smaller ships is getting to know other passengers better and enjoying the camaraderie during your trip’s duration. “Your evenings are spent talking about the stories, about what you saw,” Anciaux describes. A casual cruise experience allows you to be yourself and truly enjoy your vacation.

If the Panama Canal is a little too far, Uncruise also sails to other locations, including Alaska and the Pacific Northwest’s San Juan Islands on ships that hold a range of 22 to 90 passengers.
